Hal is a highly skilled and compassionate therapist with a diverse background in psychology, emergency services, and military service. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Purdue Global University, graduating with honors. He then completed a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

With 29 years of experience as a firefighter/EMT and 22 years of honorable service in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, Hal brings a unique depth of insight to his clinical work. His extensive experience in high-stress and crisis environments enables him to connect meaningfully with individuals facing trauma, adversity, and major life transitions.

Grounded in positive psychology and humanistic principles, Hal is committed to helping individuals cultivate meaning, purpose, and connection in their lives. He believes in the transformative power of personal growth and resilience and guides clients toward self-discovery, empowerment, and well-being. His client-centered approach fosters a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment, empowering individuals to navigate challenges and unlock their fullest potential.
