In this field, she has worked with a wide variety of individuals who have struggled with addiction and mental health disorders as the therapist, the case manager, and the coordinator or director of these court programs. Since moving back to Georgia, Lanier has been in private practice and worked as the Clinical Director of two detox programs and a short-term residential program. She is certified in Moral Reconation Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional–all of which she finds useful in a multitude of populations. Lanier has the mindset that the therapeutic alliance is the foundation of effective intrapersonal work.
