Aminat Banjo
Aminat is a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care. She has a strong foundation in both inpatient acute care and inpatient psychiatric settings. She has honed her skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of health conditions. Her experience in these diverse settings has allowed her to develop a comprehensive understanding of the interconnectedness of physical and mental health.
Aminat is passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys with empathy, compassion, and evidence-based interventions. She firmly believes that mental health is a cornerstone of a fulfilling life, and she is committed to empowering her patients to lead healthy lives. Her approach is centered on creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where patients feel heard, understood, and validated.
When not caring for patients, she is happily married with two daughters and enjoys traveling, cooking, and dancing.
